An interactive event for K-12 students celebrating the importance of a strong Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education. More than 250 volunteers will host 80 STEM exhibits at the Bryce Jordan Center on Saturday, April 17th. Kids are encouraged to try hands-on activities while learning about STEM fields. There will be a rocket launch, two mobile planetariums and a high-altitude balloon launch. Come and meet a former astronaut, Dr. Terry Hart, who will be answering questions about his experience in space!
This year, Exploration Day will take place on the concourse and arena
levels. Leisurely explore the booths that will line the walls of the corridor
that circles the main event hall and then go down to the arena floor to
find larger exhibits like the planetarium and ride-able robots.
