Taste of India

Annual fund raiser for Association for India’s Development
Proceeds support socio-economic development in India

The food festival features a variety of traditional dishes from different parts of India. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience a wonderful array of Indian cuisine.

  • Hot dosas (crepes from southern India) served with chutney and a spicy potato medley
  • A variety of dishes from northern India

There will also be an Indian handicrafts and a mehendi (henna tattoo) stall.

Kid Stuff Sale

Stay and Play Preschool (located in the State College Presbyterian Church) will hold a Kid-Stuff Sale on April 18, 2009 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. Shop the early-bird sale from 8:00 am to 8:30 am for a $5.00 entrance fee. Come and shop, take home some bargains, and help Stay and Play raise funds for their school. All things baby and kid-related will be sold: toys, books, puzzles, games, bikes, clothes, strollers, etc…

If you have gently used children’s items that you would like to donate, please contact Laura Steager (237-1154, Stay and Play Office).

The sale will include a Bake Sale this year as well, so you won’t go hungry! if you would like to provide a baked good please contact Amy Frank or Laura Steager.
